About Me

Hi! My name is Georgia Katsarou and I'm a sculptor and creature artist based in London, UK.

In 2020 I moved to the UK and attended CMS’s HNC in Media Makeup, Prosthetics and Costume. After graduating I worked briefly as a Wig Assistant for TV, and from there I moved on to working for Madame Tussauds as a Hair Inserter, and later as a Technical Artist, taking on finishing work for wax and silicone heads, and delving deep into modelling human anatomy.

More recently I have been taking on freelance work, working with studios such as Plunge Creations as a Prop Maker, bringing large scale installations to life.

Although I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of making, my passion lies in creature creation and sculpture. Over the past 6 years I have been working both independently and through formal education to develop my skills in all aspects of these disciplines, attending multiple courses in figurative and character sculpture.
